There it is ! It has been released, I was waiting for it for so long time ! You have to know that Kinfe Party is my favorite band so far. I’ve been following Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen since Pendulum, and I never left them.
Previews of Power Glove were kind of everywhere on the internet, and it appeared to be the most powerful song they never released. But we didn’t know about the three others.
As expected, Power Glove doesn’t disappoint, this THE BEST TRACK from Knife Party until now. Internet Friends and Centipede can’t face this.
But I’ve been disappointed personally, because I can’t click to the two others, and I think the Internet Friends VIP remix really really bad, I’ll tell you why. (The more you love, you harder you are with the criticism)
With LRAD, we are feeling that Rob and Gareth are experimenting new genres (and I have nothing to reproach on this point. I think this is a good thing for artists.), it sounds like festival trance, with typical sounds of the genre, that we would not expect to heard in a KP song. Beside that, there is EDM Death Machine, which is closed of traditional KP, but not that far of this trance music. I can feel that this song was used as a transition beetween the two genres (In my opinion). We can see some references to the hits of heavy electronic music.
I think the composition of the song is really simplist, and it doesn’t really deserve the EDM Death Machine title.

There will be no Internet Friends (Knife Party)
There will be no Antidote (Knife Party & SHM)

Until here, no big deal to be that disappointed. Change is fine, it’s good quality, if I don’t like this, it bother only me. But, there is the Internet Friends remix.
I’m really really sad of what I listened to. You just take the original one, let the psycho girl speak. Nothing changed, 1mn40 of already known track until “And now, you’re going to get fucked up !” Oh … It changed, and let’s go. Actually, it’s fast, dynamic, I like that ! But it lasts for 30 seconds ?! Then it’s the original song, we have to wait until the last minute to listen to new.
We just have the impression to listen to the speaker during all the song. “Now you’re going to die !”. Yeah, ok, I know it. Really disappointed.
This is an EP that is not bad, but not as awesome as I expected. First, we got a LEGEND …, two new style songs, that are not bad at all, but they can’t freak me personally, then I can’t judge it, and a huge deception from the remix which is a complete fail.
